Formation of New BALID Executive Committee 2014-2015
An Election of Executive Council (EC) of Bangladesh Association of Librarians, Information Scientiests and Documentalists (BALID) for 2014-2015 was held on 17 March 2014 in Women’s Volunteer Association (WVA), 27 Dhanmondi, Dhaka. The Election has been conducted by Mr. Md. Mofizur Rahman, Executive Director, Community Development Library (CDL) and Mr. Md. Zohurul Qaiyum, Registrar, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University (BSMRAU) as the Election Commissioner and Deputy Election Commissioner respectively.Five panels were proposed from the members present for different 17 posts of the Executive Council. Members for the Executive Council of 2014-2015 were selected on consensus from the 5 panels of candidates.
